Endorsement from Wally Delecki

As a former Superintendent of Schools for the Gilbert District, I saw the tremendous growth of our community and our district.  Community surveys always showed that the District was a top reason people moved to Gilbert.   I have known EJ Anderson for 24 years.  She has always been an advocate for excellence in education in our district.  We need strong board members that are focused on student achievement along with fiscal transparency and that is the reason I endorse and recommend her to you for re-election to the Gilbert School Board.

Endorsement from Lothaire and Connie Bluth

Lothaire and Connie Bluth have been involved with the Gilbert community for over 20 years. In 1982, Lothaire founded the Southwestern Eye Center, and since that time, he has used his offices, as well as his medical expertise, to support charitable programs that benefit the needs of the community. In addition to a commitment to this community, both he and his wife, Connie, have raised seven children who have attended Gilbert public schools. They know how important quality education is and how important quality leadership is to support education.  They are happy to endorse EJ Anderson.

"We have known and been associated with EJ Anderson for more than twenty years as neighbors and friends.  We know she is dedicated, sincere, and committed to the students of Gilbert, particularly to the students and staff of Gilbert Public Schools.  We support her in her bid for reelection to the GPS board and urge you to do the same."

Endorsement for EJ Anderson

I have worked closely with EJ Anderson and Gilbert Public Schools for over three years. We spent countless hours together over a year and a half on the Strategic Plan Core Committee. From that I saw her passion to help the district move forward and embrace new ideas while remaining committed to the core values that have made Gilbert schools great. We continue to speak often on everything from budget to curriculum to policy to preserving music and the arts in education. In every regard, EJ is focused, experienced, and driven to elevate student achievement, broaden outreach to parents and the community, and above all, putting students first in every aspect of our schools. Nothing matters more to building a strong Gilbert than continuously building strong schools. In pursuing that critical goal, I endorse EJAnderson for Gilbert Public Schools Governing Board.

Sincerely,

RE-ELECT EJ Anderson

This November is crucial for the Gilbert Public School District.  Four out of the five member governing board is up for election.  In the next four years we will begin implementing the newly adopted five-year strategic plan (I was the governing board representative on the committee), adopting common core standards, beginning new teacher evaluation and performance pay, and hiring a new superintendent.

We need the Voice of Experience and a Vision for the Future.   As the mother of five and grandmother of five, I know the importance of a world-class education. I know the value of students graduating from high school career or college ready.  I know the importance of the classroom teacher who understands the individual needs of students including those with autism, gifted, or special needs.

I’ve been an advocate for education in Gilbert for nearly two decades.  I’ve had a long history of involvement in the district and a wealth of experience in education.  Vote this November to keep a Voice of Experience with a Vision for the Future by re-electing me.  I know that together, we can create a bright future for all of Gilbert's students.

Thank you for your time,
EJ Anderson
